With the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities starting an initiative toevaluate power gird modernization needed to help meet the state’saggressive renewable energy development plans, stakeholders saidOct. 26 they have concerns around interconnection timing,transparency, and other issues.New Jersey’s 2019 Energy Master Plan calls for a 100% clean energysystem by 2050, which includes electricity generation andconsumption; transportation fuel; building use including heating andappliances; and industrial use.
