Oman is in talks with investors to build green ammonia and hydrogenprojects in three free zones, a government official said on Aug. 23, asthe Gulf state tries to attract more foreign investments to its cleanenergy industry.Oman’s Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zonesis currently negotiating with several international companies that haveexpressed an interest in establishing projects for the production ofgreen hydrogen and ammonia in Duqm, Salalah and Sohar, Jalalal-Lawati, an official from the authority said in a statement.
