1. ERCOT North Hub day-ahead on-peak traded June 25 around $17.25/MWh, about $1.30 lower than the June 24 Intercontinental Exchange settled price of $18.57/MWh. 2. Looking at forwards, ERCOT North Hub real-time summer package continued the downwards trend, falling $2.30 to trade around $86.80/MWh. 3. Turning to the Southeast, power prices moved the other direction, with GTC day-ahead on-peak trading $2.50 higher at $24.00/MWh 4. According to ERCOT data, wind generation is forecast to rise to 13.9 GW on June 26 from 8.3 GW on June 25, a gain of over 67%. 5. Natural gas prices are putting additional downwards pressure, with Houston Ship Channel falling 15.7 cents to trade around $1.404/MMBtu. 6. Transco Zone 3 is also moving lower, falling 9.2 cents on the day. 7. Peakload demand is expected to drop to 54.3 GW on June 26, down 8% from 59.0 GW on June 25. 8. This is expected to be the lowest level of demand seen over the upcoming seven days.
