Next-day power prices in the Electric Reliability Council of Texasfootprint rose Tuesday on the back of higher systemwide demand,while customized prices for June were increased on above-normaltemperature forecasts.North Hub day-ahead on-peak for Wednesday delivery was valuedin the mid-$20s/MWh on the Intercontinental Exchange, up about $3from its prior settlement.The grid operator projected systemwide peakload to rise from54.6 GW Tuesday to 58.2 GW Wednesday and 58.1 GW Thursday,before falling to 56.6 GW Friday.High wind generation was expected to linger in the area through theweek, as average output was set to reach 13.6 GW Tuesday, 13.5 GWWednesday, 14.5 GW Thursday and 12.5 GW Friday.
