Mass Hub day-ahead sinks $1.50, mirrors demand expectations

In the New York Independent System Operator footprint, day-ahead on-peak prices were mixed as zones J and G each rose less than 25 cents to price near $17/MWh. The off-peak packages similarly gained to trade near $12.75/MWh. Moving in parallel, the Zone A West Hub on-peak rose about 20 cents to near $10/MWh. Bucking the trend the off peak package tumbled $1 to price below $6/MWh.
