Electric Reliability Council of Texas stakeholders voiced concernThursday about a proposed rule that would require gas-firedgenerators to provide detailed information about the status andpotential problems with their feedgas pipelines. Ultimately,consideration of the proposal was postponed to allow formalcomments to be filed.ERCOT’s Protocol Revision Subcommittee approved the urgencystatus of Nodal Protocol Revision Request 997, Gas PipelineCoordination for Natural Gas Generation Resources, which ThereseHarris, Public Utility Commission of Texas director of infrastructureanalysis, said the PUC hopes to be in effect for the summer of 2020.
