Mass Hub day-ahead falls over $17 with weaker demand

Northeast power packages tumbled Thursday for next-day delivery asdemand weakened and gas prices trended down.Mass Hub day-ahead fell off about 35% from its previoussettlement on the Intercontinental Exchange, losing $17.25 to near$32/MWh for Friday delivery as temperatures were forecast to warmup. Similarly, the off-peak package shed $19.25 to the low $30s/MWh.
