MISO subcommittee to review feedback on rules ensuring availability of capacity

A Midcontinent Independent System Operator subcommittee will review feedback requested by Friday on rules designed to ensure the capacity availability of generating assets that have planned outages longer than 90 days. MISO’s Resource Adequacy Subcommittee said in a recent report that the target of the rules are generators that have cleared the Planning Resource Auction but are offline for extended periods of time due to unforced outages.
