Day-ahead power prices in the Southeast generally weakened year onyear for the month of July alongside lower natural gas prices, with theexception of Florida, which had a 10% year-on-year price increase,according to S&P Global Platts data.Into Southern day-ahead on-peak prices averaged in the low$30s/MWh during July, down 5% from the same month last year.Similarly, Into GTC day-ahead on-peak fell 5% year on year to averagein the low $30s/MWh.
