Colder weather across the New York Independent System Operator inMarch drove up wholesale power prices as much as 46.5% year onyear, as exports into the Northeast decreased and power forwardsgenerally followed natural gas futures higher.Gas prices, which were up 3.7% year on year, also helped push uppower prices with NYISO Zone G Hudson Valley day-ahead on-peaklocational marginal prices averaging $35/MWh for March, up 23.6%year on year.
