NextEra asks FERC to not allow PG&E to abrogate contracts without permission

With a week remaining before it has said it will file for bankruptcy, PG&E Corp and its utility Pacific Gas and Electric have seen a top power supplier, NextEra Energy, file with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission a request to disallow renewable power purchase agreements from being abrogated without FERC’s permission.
