Texas regulators to mull real-time co-optimization policy issues Thursday

The Public Utility Commission of Texas staff filed a list of questions Friday that need answers before ERCOT implements real-time co-optimization of energy and ancillary services, which are to be discussed during Thursday's PUC meeting. In the same proceeding, Project No. 48540, "Review of Real-Time Co-Optimization in the ERCOT Market," ERCOT's general counsel on Friday filed a stakeholder process plan for developing real-time co-optimization rules that do not require PUCT rulings.
