NRC staff plans to issue in April its final safety evaluation report forrnEntergy’s application to renew the operating license of Grand Gulf-1 inrnMississippi, according to a schedule issued by staff February 3.rnAll open items contained in an earlier version of the SER issued inrnJanuary 2013 (INRC, 11 Feb ’13, 6) have now been closed. NRC said in arnFebruary 3 letter to Entergy that staff had closed one open item,rnrelating to the calculation methods used by Entergy in the Grand Gulf-1rnneutron fluence analyses. The three other open items related to agingrnmanagement programs at the unit and were closed in late 2013.
