Domenici, Landrieu propose bank to finance 'clean' energy projects

Senators Pete Domenici and Mary Landrieu introduced a bill last week that would create a government-run, public-private bank to provide financial support to domestic "clean" energy projects. Modeled loosely after the Export-Import Bank or the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the proposed institution would support commercially viable low-carbon energy production.
