A US LNG trade group executive said he was unaware of any move bythe Biden administration to curb LNG exports after a former Trumpadministration energy secretary said talk of such restrictions wascreating market "anxiety."Charlie Riedl, executive director of the Center for Liquefied NaturalGas, said Oct. 8 that the Biden administration has not discussedcurbing exports with his organization and that the Department ofEnergy was not considering a September request by Industrial EnergyConsumers of America, a manufacturers organization, to limit LNGexports because of its concerns of potential winter price spikes.
