PJM issues hot weather alerts for July 26-28, peakload to surpass 142.7 GW

With more hot and humid weather forecast across the PJM Interconnection footprint, the grid operator issued hot weather alerts for July 26-28, marking 13 days it has issued such alerts so far this month. The alerts are in effect from 7 am ET to 10 pm ET July 26-28 in PJM's southern and Mid-Atlantic regions. PJM previously issued hot weather alerts for July 3, 6-9 and 18-22 so far in July.
