New Jersey regulators have signed off on a second agreement thatwould allow Ocean Wind LLC to bring power from a planned 1,100-MWoffshore wind farm to shore.Ocean Wind, an Ørsted A/S subsidiary, won the state's first offshorewind solicitation in June 2019, getting approval from the New JerseyBoard of Public Utilities to build the Ocean Offshore Wind Farm 15 milesoff the coast of Atlantic City (BPU Docket No. QO18121289). The boardon March 27 authorized the company to procure capacityinterconnection rights, or CIRs, for the project from RC Cape MayHoldings at the retired B.L. England power plant in Cape May County.
