Sempra confident in LNG project momentum amid global market turmoil

Sempra Energy expects to make a final investment decision on itsproposed LNG export project in Mexico in the next 30 to 45 days,though it is putting off by up to three months a decision on its Texasliquefaction project, executives said Thursday.The first phase of the project in Baja California is significantlysmaller than the full plans for Port Arthur LNG, allowing the Mexicanproject to build sufficient commercial support more quickly, albeit withagreements that still must be finalized.
