West natural gas spot prices rose Wednesday amid mixed fundamentals.In the Northwest, Colorado Interstate Gas Mainline moved up 6cents on the day to $1.52/MMBtu for deliveries Thursday, whileCheyenne Hub added 7 cents to $1.54/MMBtu.The upward movement in prices comes amid a sliding demandoutlook, with Platts Analytics estimating demand to sit at 9.9 BcfThursday, down 300 MMcf on the day. Demand is set to reach 9.7 BcfFriday, although the National Weather Service forecast above-averagetemperatures across much of the West.
