In spite of higher natural gas prices and increased expected demand in Texas for Wednesday, day-ahead on-peak power in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas was valued about $5/MWh lower Tuesday morning on the Intercontinental Exchange. Bid and offer activity on ICE indicated the value of day-ahead on-peak power at ERCOT North in the upper $10s/MWh Tuesday afternoon, down from Monday's settlement of $22.13/MWh. Next-day power trading real-time on ICE showed a weighted average price of $17.72/MWh at 1:30 pm CDT.
