NYMEX October contract rangebound on rising demand, slowing production

NYMEX October natural gas futures stayed rangebound and settled at$2.58/MMBtu Tuesday, down 0.50 cent on the day, amid rising demandand declining production.The front-month contract was trading at $2.591/MMBtu, movingbetween $2.571/MMBtu and $2.648/MMBtu.Further along the curve, the December contract gained 1.20 centsto $2.780/MMBtu while the January contract added 1.80 cents to$2.877/MMBtu, remaining below the $3 mark.
