Southeast, East Texas spot gas prices mixed on lower production, lower demand

Cash prices for next-day gas flows were mixed on Tuesday amid lowergas-fired power demand and day-on-day production declines.Cash Henry Hub remained unchanged at $2.325/MMBtu. Henry Hubsettled in a wide range of $2.29-$2.745/MMBtu during September, andaveraged $2.526/MMBtu for the month.Southeast gas production was expected to fall 285 MMcf on theday to 12.07 Bcf, with the decline concentrated in the offshore fields.Demand was expected to nudge down nearly 200 MMcf to 23.97 Bcf,largely on lower gas-fired power burn demand.
