California Independent System Operator has asked federalregulators to quickly approve a fix for a problem that shifted millions ofdollars per quarter among the members of the Western EnergyImbalance Market.While stakeholders generally backed the plan, they said theremight still be other issues that need to be fixed before expansion of theday-ahead market to the EIM, which could amplify any problems andcosts for EIM participants.
