New York power prices rise along with natural gas prices

Day-ahead power prices at key hubs in the New York Independent System Operator footprint saw slight gains as Northeast natural gas prices trended up. NYISO Zone J NYC on-peak day-ahead locational margin gained about $1 to near $23/MWh for next-day delivery. NYISO Zone G on-peak rose $1.25 to about $22/MWh, while the corresponding off-peak package shed a few cents to near $15.25/MWh.
