Henry Hub forwards, cash prices hit annual lows, but upside risk remains

Balance-of-2019 forward prices at the Henry Hub sank to an annual low late last week, but they could see upside risk in the months ahead as low storage levels and rising export demand pressure the market. On Thursday, calendar-month forwards at the US benchmark gas hub fell to an average $2.64/MMBtu, which is down sharply from January highs at over $3/MMBtu.
