Upper Midwest, Midcontinent cash prices mixed as demand set to back off

Cash prices in the Upper Midwest and the Midcontinent were mixed Wednesday as the intense cold weather seen as of late is set to improve. Upper Midwest demand was at 37.6 Bcf Wednesday but is expected to fall approximately 3 Bcf for gas day Thursday, according to S&P Global Platts Analytics. Demand is also forecast to decrease 23 Bcf in the next five days to 14.5 Bcf by February 5.
