Pakistan’s Sindh province has set up a high-level fourmemberncommittee to review and evaluate coal reservesnin the Thar Desert, which remain untapped since largendeposits were indicated in the early 1990s. Estimatesnof the deposits range up to 175 billion mt of reserves.
