EU gas demand to fall: Deutsche Bank

Deutsche Bank commodities analysts in November called European gas demand growth forecasts into question, after recent data suggested that the post-recession demand downturn of 2009 may not just be a one-off blip. "The fall in demand in 2009 may have previously been rationalized as a one-year interruption in a more or less continuous growth trend since 1997, but now can no longer be so easily dismissed," analysts Michael Hsueh and Mark Lewis said in a note.
