Qatar cuts LNG supply

Qatar, the world’s largest producer of LNG has reduced production, owing to slack demand from the two largest buyers, Japan and South Korea. Qatar's LNG exports were down 4% year-on-year in the first five months of 2014, from 32.2 million mt to 30.1 million mt, which equates to around 20 standard 65,000 mt cargoes.
