Norway has doubled its estimates of undiscovered oil andrngas resources in the Barents Sea, and forecasts recordrnlevels of exploration activity in the region’s Arctic watersrnthis year. Estimates of undiscovered oil and gas resourcesrnin the Barents Sea have been doubled to 17.6 billion barrelsrnof oil equivalent, following mapping of a new section ofrnthe sea.
