France on track for record-low nuclear output in 2017

French nuclear output remains on track for the lowest annual output to date this century, despite hourly output rising above 52 GW December 18 for the first time since February, data from grid operator RTE shows. Based on currently planned reactor availability, output will not reach last year's 382 TWh, which was the lowest annual output since at least 2000.
