EDF Energies Nouvelles has brought online the 87-MW Salles-Curan wind farm in the Aveyron department, the company said December 15.rnSalles-Curan is the largest wind farm in France, with 29 3-MW turbines, EDF EN said. It will supply the equivalent of close to 40% of the department's population, the company said.rn"In the wake of the recently commissioned Chemin d'Ablis and Villeseque facilities, this new wind farm lifts the total capacity brought into service in France this year to 190 MW," the company said.
