The average system price in the Nordic market was €45.9/MWh in third quarter 2010, against €31.3/MWh in third quarter 2009, Statkraft said in presenting improved nine month results on November 11. The 2010 nine-month average was significantly higher, at €50.2/MWh -compared with €34.5/MWh in January-September 2009.rnThe group's consolidated power output during the third quarter this year was 10.6 TWh (11.9 TWh in third quarter 2009). Hydro production was about the same as a year earlier, while gas-fired output was "significantly lower".
