Onshore wind up to 6.4 GW

France continues to add onshore wind capacity quite rapidly according to the latest statistics, with total capacity up some 1,000 MW over the last year. According to energy agency Ademe, there was 6,397 MW installed wind as of October 25. The capacity continues to be added in small increments of around 12 MW per wind farm, and sometimes less. In some cases these are in clusters, such as the 4x12 MW of wind farms developed by CEPE des Portes de la Cote-d'Or SARL. The decision on the operating licences for all four were published October 20.
