EFA calendar set for change

The Electricity Forwards Agreement calendar under which UK power trades could be scrapped within three years under new proposals to be announced November 10, the UK Futures and Options Association said November 4. The FOA's Power Trading Forum said it had been directly consulting with members and found the majority would like to see the EFA calendar scrapped in favor of a move toward the calendar month system used by the rest of Europe.
