Italy's environment, agriculture and industry ministries approved incentives for renewable heat November 8.The decree seeks to promote the production of green heat from biomass, heat pumps and thermal solar, as well as accelerate the efficient use of heat in public buildings, the ministries said in a joint statement.Incentives are to cover around 40% of investment, normally payable over a two-year period, rising to five years for larger projects. The projects are expected to have an average cost of "several thousand euro," they said.
