Small German renewable energy operators are pressing ahead with retrofits to allow remote control of output and so make the most of the country's market premium support mechanism.Energy2market reported October 26 that it had 2.4 GW of renewables, including several hundred biomass plants, many of which had been retrofitted and integrated into its virtual power station concept. Wind and solar plants were now being added, it said.
