Reserve same as for 2011

As in winter 2011/2012, federal regulator Bundesnetzagentur (BNA) has identified reserve capacity to be called up in case of emergency this winter. "The same units are on the reserve list as for last winter, as set out in the BNA winter report published in May, 2012. The TSOs are responsible for signing them up," a spokeswoman told Platts.The units are Mainz-Wiesbaden 2 (350 MW) Grosskraftwerk Mannheim unit 3 (200 MW), Heizkraftwerk Freimann (160 MW), and in Austria 785 MW of capacity owned by EVN, 150 MW owned by Verbund and 140 MW owned by Wien Energie. Ensdorf unit 3 (286 MW) is removed from the list after operator VSE leased the unit to steel company Saarstahl.
