Extremadura OKs wind farms

The government of Extremadura region has authorized two wind farms totaling 74 MW — one at 50 MW and one at 24 MW — being promoted by different developers. The projects, according to separate notices in Spain's state gazette October 30, are both in Badajoz province and budgeted at €56.5 million and €26.8 million respectively.
