Regular electricity production at TVO’s 1.6 GW Olkiluoto-3 EPR project in Finland has been pushed back five months to May 2019, the Finnish operator said October 9. First connection to the grid will now place in December 2018, with start of regular production in May 2019. The unit is scheduled to produce between 2 TWh and 4 TWh at varying power levels between these two events, TVO said. The company expressed disappointment at the fresh delay, communicated to it by plant supplier Areva-Siemens.
