A goal to install floating wind capacity of 3 GW by 2030 inrnthe French Mediterranean is to be incorporated in thernregional development programs of the two regions with arnMediterranean coastline – Sud-Provence Alpes Côte d’Azurrnand Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée. The regions madernthe undertaking in an open call to action July 24, supportedrnby numerous local authorities, sector associations andrnbusinesses. The groups are calling on the government tornhold regular tenders from next year for enough floatingrnoffshore wind capacity in the Mediterranean to meet therntarget.
