Czechs set for solar power showdown

The Czech government and regulator have come under fire in an increasingly bitter battle over the impact of solar subsidies and clawback taxes. The main Czech solar power lobby, CZEPHO, and the renewables group, the Alliance for Energy Self Sufficiency, announced February 21 they had lodged a criminal complaint with the Olomouc prosecutor's office targeting officials at the Energy Regulatory Office (ERU), the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the government office serving the prime minister.
