Constraint payments of GBP45.86 million ($63.89 million) to gasgeneration assets in the UK in June were stable on the month butdown 24% on June 2020, data from the National Grid ElectricitySystem Operator showed on Aug. 4.The payments result from instructions by the system operator toturn generation up or down in order to balance supply and demand onthe transmission network.
