Developer Blue Elephant secures land for 300 MW solar projects in Germany

Hamburg-based renewables developer Blue Elephant Energy, or BEE,has secured 300 hectares of land for 300 MW of solar power projectsin Germany, it said June 15.The developer plans 12 projects ranging from 10 MW to 50 MW, withthe first expected to come online 2023.Financing for the project is to be mainly secured via powerpurchase agreements with some projects also within the tenderframework under Germany’s EEG law, BEE said.
