Poland sets maximum offshore power price at Zloty 301.5/MWh

Poland’s Ministry of Climate and Environment said Feb. 16 it has proposed setting the maximum price for electricity produced in the country’s first offshore wind farms at Zloty 301.5/MWh (Eur67.18/MWh). In comparison, the CAL-22 contract on the Polish Power Exchange settled at Zloty 282.45/MWh on Feb. 15. The first projects are expected to be operational in the second half of this decade.
