Norwegian hydro reservoir stocks fell 2.55 TWh to 71.65 TWh in theweek to Jan. 3, Nord Pool data showed Jan. 6.No Swedish reservoir data were available for the week, but stocks hadbeen at 26.96 TWh in week 52 having declined by around 700 GWh a weekthrough December. Finnish reservoir levels were stable week on week at4.2 TWh. It can be thus be assumed that, with overall Nordic stocks at or above 100 TWh (80% of nominal capacity), the region’s surplus was around16 TWh up on the long-term median at the turn of the year.
