RWE eyes green hydrogen supply deals in the Netherlands

RWE has signed a letter of intent with chemical company OCI tosupply green hydrogen to its methanol production facility in Delfzijl, theNetherlands, the German power company said Nov 6.The agreement feeds into RWE’s Eemshydrogen green hydrogenproject in Eemshaven where, in a first phase, RWE is to develop a 50MW electrolyzer fed by its 162 MW Westereems onshore wind farm.The electrolyzer capacity could be scaled up depending on marketdevelopments and regulations, the company said.
