PJM taking steps in governance, aiming to improve access to board members

"We have heard you and we are responding," PJM Interconnection in essence is telling stakeholders after receiving critical comments about PJM management and governance at the regional transmission organization. On a couple of different fronts, PJM has committed to address a lack of clarity on the roles and responsibilities at PJM and to improve dialogue between PJM stakeholders and the board. The comments and concerns mentioned at a May 2 meeting "are indicators that we have not as yet achieved the clarity we need," PJM Chairman, President and CEO Phillip Harris told the PJM members committee on May 3.
