Massachusetts, Connecticut push energy efficiency to help ease soaring prices

Laboring under some of the nation's highest energy prices, Massachusetts and Connecticut are striving for new ways to ease costs through energy efficiency. In Massachusetts the legislature appears poised to enact its first major energy bill since the state restructured a decade ago, following unanimous Senate approval January 9 of An Act to Generate Renewable Energy and Efficiency Now.
