Florida Public Service Commission Chairman Nancy nArgenziano abruptly resigned last week, citing her frustration nwith what she views as excessive utility influence over the nFlorida Legislature and — through it — the PSC itself.nArgenziano was not available for comment , but according nto several Florida newspapers she said during a news confer-nence that many state legislators are beholden to investor-nowned utilities because of campaign contributions they nreceive from them. “It stinks,” Argenziano is quoted as saying nof the relationship.
